FLUTE MASTER CLASS WITH ALICE MORZENTI
The course will focus on: flutist technique, preparation for international competitions and auditions in orchestra.
The timetable of the course will be defined by the professor according to the composition of the class.
The course provides a piano accompanist (only on request at the time of registration).
The organization reserves the right to make some scholarships available to the most deserving students upon request to the secretariat, to be assigned at the end of the course and at the discretion of the teachers.

Alice Morzenti is one of the most representative flutist her generation.
She was born in Bergamo (Italy) and she graduated at the Brescia Conservatory with top honors, plus distinction and mention. After, she studied with Davide Formisano at the "Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst" in Stuttgart and with Mario Caroli at the “Académie Supérieure de Musique" in Strasbourg.
Very young she was in final at the competition “Ponchielli” in Cremona and she won “I giovani per i giovani” in Ravenna, “Bazzini” for the chamber music and “Manenti” for soloist with orchestra in Brescia, “Krakamp” in Benevento, “Nuovi Orizzonti” in Arezzo, “International flute competition” in Ovada, “Severino Gazzelloni” in Firenze and “International competition Marco Fiorindo”.
She has performed in several recital, chamber music and soloist with orchestra, in Teatro S.Carlino and Auditorium S. Barnaba (Brescia), Amici del Loggione del Teatro alla Scala (Milano), Festival Severino Gazzelloni (Firenze), Falaut Festival (Milano), Flautissimo Festival (Rom), Teatro Dal Verme (Milano), Festival di Cernobbio (Como) and German Flute Festival in Freiburg.
At very young age she played for the first time with Orchestra and Filarmonica of Teatro alla Scala in Milano under the direction of J.E. Gardiner, Georges Pretre, Daniel Barenboim, Daniel Harding, Simon Bychkov, Gustavo Dudamel, Zubin Metha, Lorin Maazel and Riccardo Chailly.
From than on she collaborated as first flute with the “Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna”, "Filarmonica of Teatro alla Scala", "Münchner Bachsolisten", "Münchner Rundfunkorchester", "Münchener Kammerorchester, "Teatro Regio" in Turin, “Gran Teatro la Fenice” in Venice, "Bayerische Staatsorchester" and “Bamberger Symphoniker” under the direction of Myung-Whun Chung, David Afkham, Fabio Luisi, Valery Gergiev, Daniele Gatti, Gianandrea Noseda and Kirill Petrenko.
Since 2013 she is principal flute in the Staatstheater in Nuremberg and she teaches at the University of music in Nuremberg and Freiburg im Breisgau.
Beginnig in the winter semester 2023/2024 she will start teaching as Professor for Flute at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen.
